I totaled my dads vehicle with significant collateral damage, whats the worst that can happen. Insured by USAA?

Im 18, years old and getting ready to leave for the Army, but I just crashed my dads car into a telephone pole. Whats going to happen to me? I'm insured under him with USAA. My recruiter says I should pay the ticket and accept the points but I feel that may not be wise and that I should get a lawyer? Info please?
