Legally, does the party issuing something to another, gain any authority over the one who received?
What are the legal ramifications and associations created by accepting something issued to you? Is it legally the same as merely providing without issuing as in a gift? Or does the act generate, transfer or otherwise create a situation where one party, the issuing one, has authority over the one who received? The army issues uniforms and ID and orders. Police get issued ID and uniforms and orders. Does accepting something 'issued' mean you are under the authority of the issuing party, once you accept that issuance? Thank you.

Cannot document earnest money for FHA mortgage?
Maybe because its a money order so no way to trace the money from a money order. If you were writing a personal check you would be able to show documentation of you depositing the money in your account and writing a check for earnest money. Otherwise even though you have bill of sale and title that still doesn't show how you paid for the money order. You could have paid for the money order with different funds.

Sometimes people push other people away when they are scared. Maybe a conversation with him and reassuring him how much you love him and why you wouldnt' leave him, despite him being gone in the army might change his mind. It sounds to me like he was afraid you would leave him, so to gain some control over his fears, he left you, even though he is still in love with you.

Whenever January comes around and I receive my W-2 I become extremely impatient and like to finish my taxes as quickly as possible. I just recently filed and am awaiting my refund. I completely forgot about the donations I had made to the Salvation Army last year and just received my "2010 Gifting Statement." I only donated about ninety dollars and was wondering if it worth re-filing my taxes over. Listen your doing the right thing. He's just jealous you moved on before he did, because trust me if he had found someone he wouldn't be all boo hoo ing and acting hurt. Just keep going out and having fun and eventually you will be okay. Just take it slow and don't build up any expectations and you will end up finding something better. I fail my Driving Test over Stupid little things? HELP!?
I failed my test twice, passed on the third attempt. My only advice is if you know you can drive, you will pass. Its not always about how your driving, really the examiners opinion on that specific day. If you drive well, but the examiners having a bad, he'll fail you over really silly things. So don't panic, just drive well, concentrate for the full time and you'll be fine. Good luck.
Is it inappropriate to wear a suit to a funeral?
A friend of mine, his 24 year old daughter passed away. I never met her but I'm going to the funeral to support my friend. Would it be inappropriate to wear the full blown suit? Its grey, 3 button. Or should I just wear a nice shirt and slacks? No jacket? I just don't want to be overdressed.
Army will not send husband home and Im on complete bed rest and have a 5 year old son.?
I am 17 weeks pregnant. My husband has been deployed for the last 10 months and is scheduled to be home in mid march. On Monday I went into preterm labor and the doctor sent an emergency red cross message stating "the diagnoses is preterm labor with severe cramping at 17 weeks gestation. Pt is stable at home however she is unable to care for 5 year old son alone. Soldiers presence is requested." Well of course the only thing his CO got out of it "was severe cramping." What really pisses me off is his unit is already sending soldiers home!! They told my husband all the flights were full until March but they would try to figure something out. They said the message was "vague." The doctors sent another red cross message stating im on complete bed rest with bathroom privileges only. That am I unable to drive or take care of our son. Our son is currently staying with a daycare provider and his presence is requested immediately. At this point I really don't know what else to do. I volunteer with the FRG and know all the higher ranking wives and rear D commanders and they said they would try to get him on a flight to arrive in 3 weeks??? I cant even get out of bed? I cant feed myself or my child? And I know stress is the WORST thing for me and the baby, I cant just leave my son at daycare for three weeks, let alone mid march. I feel like I'm going to have a complete emotional breakdown. What should i do???

When I get a license to carry a concealed weapon/firearm, do I have to have a pistol or can I use something like say an MP7A1 or a UMP45 just long as its concealed. Like as long as I have a long jacket or something it can stay concealed under.
How difficult is it to get on the commissioned nursing program in the Air Force/Army?
The Air Force program only has fifty slots per year for this and I am not sure what the Army has but it is very competitive and difficult to get into that program in the Air Force. I would talk to some recruiters and see what they might say and pay close attention to how many slots the Army might have and I am not even sure if they have a program like the Air Force has for this. I did strat and tacitcal aeromed the first twenty-three years of my thirty-four year career and only met maybe two flight nurses that were selected for that program and were commissioned through it after completing it.

Can someone get fired because their license was suspended?
i didnt even know was licensw was suspended. I rode someone elses motorcycle to town and some lady rearended me. four months later I hit a deer while driving company vehicle and the cop tells me my license was suspended for failing to show proof of insurance on the motorcycle wreck four months ago. I had no idea it wasnt insured and the bmv sent notices to the my old address so i never knew they got suspended. so my employer fired me because they said I knew my license was suspended. Now they are fighting my unemployement too. the suspension is over in about three more weeks. HELP, what can I do ?

ok well there is this guy who i sorta like and were friends. But anyways, today me and my friends were walking around and he was with his friends ad we sorta met up and hung out for a few minutes. when he was leaving he just hugged me (it wasn't in a weird way because we both hug people all the time) but it was really awkward because i hadnt hugged him before and i just like put my arms around him and his jacket was all in my face lol. Dude, sleep is how the body keeps running, it's one of the important things, it's almost as important as needing food, water, and oxygen to survive. No one can keep that up for so long. Get sleep. You'll need it. Your grades will drop if you don't get sleep either. You need to focus in life man. Especially if you drink caffeine like coffee...coffee on top of no sleep for days and days, you'll become a train wreck man.

Whats consists of a weapons squad and a weapons platoon?

definatly, ive seen some really short sport bike. But do you know how to ride a motorcycle? if not take the saftey course, you'll learn everything you need to know to start. Also they say 250cc but if you like fast or want to go on the freeway with out putting real strain on your bike at least get a 500cc also you'll get bored of it real fast, i'd give it a month and a half tops. People dont realize you can learn on just about anything, 1000cc isnt reccomended but you can. be safe and have fun. Also im 5'5" so not that tall but have np with bikes

Dad got demoted last year during GM's bankruptcy, and may get a promotion in spring. My Mom is opening a restaurant this year, which is going to cost a lot. I got a job in November at a brand new Kroger grocery store, where I get minimum wage and cannot work over 16 hours per week because I'm only 15. I have saved a little over 1.2k in the bank. I also have invested $500 of my own money this year into stocks, which are up a little. This might sound dumb to some, but I have dreamed of buying a motorcycle. I want a Kawasaki Ninja 650R. AND YES, I KNOW INSURANCE COSTS MONEY, (FOR CAR AND MOTORCYCLE) I'M NOT AN IDIOT. I also need to plan on how to save for that. Any tips, help, and info would be great! Thanks so much.

Need help finding the disadvantages of owning a motorcycle?
Motorcycles need more frequent repair. They are notorious for eating tires, brakes, drive components. Then if you have a headlight burn out it will stop you cold since there is only one light. There are greater risks if you hit a deer. But, a skunk, oposum, racoon, or stray dog can prove fatal too. Motorcycles don't travel as far on a tank of gas. Meaning you really have to plan your stops. Not to mention that in a crash you are straddleing the gas tank. But, the bigest hazard to riding a motorcycle is other vehicles on the road.

Look my life is great. I have a motorcycle , I just got cleared to enlist in the marine corps, I have a good job, I'm at the perfect age of 17 , everything is great. But I have a night every now and then where I feel like no matter what I do there will never be anyone to fall back on. Brake calipers service on motorcycle?
I have not long had my fazer and am made up with it. its a 2001 fzs 600 and it had 12800 miles on it when i bought it, i was wondering if i should service the calipers? the brakes feel fine and the guy i bought it off said he had recently changed the pads on the front. any advise would be great as i have read that the fazer is known for the brake calipers seizing.

I only really like the custom emblems and full title bars, Free For All tactical insersion is not allowed (but you can't boost anyway xD) for Modern Warfare 3 I think they should take them ideas and mix it up with Modern Warfare 2. Things like Commando, One Man Army, Danger Close should all be gone and the launcher RPG7 also the grenade launcher. I think it'll make a great game. MW2 is fine but them perks and weapons/attachments ruin the experience. WHAT DO YOU WANT IN Modern Warfare 3?

this is the same answer i used a minute ago with a simular question.....when i went through boot camp i was 6'1 and a solid 210....lets just say when i left boot camp i was 153....run run run and when your done with that run some more...that and pull ups..do pyrmids start with 10 pullups then hop down from the bar do 25 push ups then 9 and 24 push ups all the way down till you get to 1 pullup and 15 push ups then go from 1 and 15 back to 10 and 25...start at a lower number if your still needing work on your pullups.....and just some advice practice running with a goose egg (a filled sand bag that has been mummified in duct tape)..you have to get used to running with a pack..thats the best advice i can give you...your gonna loose mad muscle and mad weight but trust me the faster you are the better...and stadiums not only should you be able to run for long distances but also be fast on short sprints.....good luck

Im 17 years old and I live in Wisconsin. I have two obstruction of justice, misdemeanor charges. I was wondering if my record will be cleared when I turn 18. I was also wondering if these charges are keeping me from getting a job, on applications it asks if i have committed a crime but i dont know if i should check yes or no and list them. Im afraid if I check yes it will be an automatic rejection. If I no then they might run a background check and see that im lying. I plan on going to the army after high school and then off to college, will these charges effect that too? What are the effects that these charges have on me?

Will spray can paint hold well on my motorcycle?
I have done and seen some great rattle can paint jobs. Do your research on paint types prep work and final sanding and buffing. I had my paint mixed into spray cans at an automotive paint supply store. Good quality and some clear coat to go with it. 2000 grit paper and proper polishing compound and a buffer and following, meticulously following instructions from accomplished painters the job came out so well I was giddy. You can do it but follow the advice of the folks at the paint supply and that of actual painters. It's all in the details. You'll do fine.
I spilt some of the chemical EDTA on my jacket?
I had a lab today in chemistry and we used a low concentration of EDTA. I accidentally spilt a few drops of it on my jacket but I wiped it off with my hand. At the time I didn't know it was EDTA, I thought it was just deionized water. After school is when I found out the it was actually EDTA. The chemical was already dried up but am I going to be fine?

California passing on a motorcycle law question?
Quick question about the law on passing other vehicles on a motorcycle. I am a student, and in the morning the traffic is horrendous getting into the student parking lot. The street on the way to the entrance is a two way street, but the size of the lanes are relatively big. There are cars that park on the right hand side next to the curb, then there is a single file line of cars next to the double yellow lines, I can easily fit my bike between the gap of the parked cars and the stop and go traffic, but am unsure about being able to pass vehicles on the right hand side. I mean It wouldn't be safe at all to be riding very close or even on the double yellow line right? So I'm assuming my only other option is to pass on the right. Is passing on the right illegal in this circumstance? If so, do I have any other options to beat the traffic? I'd hate to have to stop and go on my motorcycle :( Please HELP!!!

What is "break-in" for a new motorcycle?
I have a ER if I remember right its change oil and filter after 1000km or 600 miles. Changing the oil at 30km just won't do much for you, its way early. Read the owners manual, it is the best source of information on this. Nice bike the ER, it is my favorite around town bike. Light nimble plenty of power.

Army medical discharge?
I have been in the army for almost a year now...I had a motorcycle wreck a few years ago...My knee at the pavement at about 60 mph...I healed from my injuries...Now my knee is starting to give me problems espically after long periods of standing and in cold weather...its getting worse and worse. espically after PT...Its a coming and going pain, but now its coming more frequently. I have had x rays and MRI's done but they don't see anything wrong. it never broke. Could there really be something wrong with my knee..Would i be able to get a medical discharge for it.

Trying to enlist with tattoos?
I would like to enlist for the Army but I have a question about a tattoo. I did some research and read that tattoos are OK in certain places as long as they are not vulgar or inappropriate. The tattoo that I'm worried about is a Mexican style day of the dead skull on my forearm. It's not too big, and only takes up about a 1/4 of my arm. Is this tattoo considered inappropriate?

If I understand correctly, completeing Ranger School and getting your tab means you are Ranger qualified, not a Ranger? But if you make it through Ranger School and are sent to the 75th, then you are a Ranger? How do they decide who goes to the 75th and who does not? IF I were to make it through Ranger School as a 14T, how could I fill a combat role?

How can you become a general in the us army?
First you have to be an Officer. Then after you become one you have to suck up and play politics if you stay in long enough to be a Major. As a Major, this is when you start learning how to suck up because you know you want to attain a higher grade in the Army. Then you continue to suck up as a LTC where you learn how to get other people to do your work and you get the credit for it. While you are getting kudos as a LTC for doing a great job, the people that are behind the scenes making sure everything is done right, gets the shaft when something doesn't go right or when something does go right, you don't get any credit for it. Then as a Colonel you take on more people taking on more responsibilities for you while you are playing golf or socializing with the Generals so they can remember you when a position opens up on their staff. That's how you make General.
What motorcycle should I upgrade to?
I've got about a years experience of everyday riding on my ninja 250r. I am just about ready to sell and upgrade to something a little bigger/faster. Why do we like watching sad films?
I've recently started wondering, why do we seem to like watching sad films? I've been watching a lot of films recently that have brought a tear to my eye (Full metal Jacket, Platoon, Braveheart, The Boy in Striped Pyjamas and District 9) and are pretty depressing, yet that what makes me see them as good films? I think the military might have messed up causing my dad his life insurance? Help?
This is complicated...not sure if anyone will be able to help. My father seperated from the army in 2002 he thought he was discharged. I believe he canceled his SGLI due to bad advice thinking he could convert to VGLI because he paid on his life insurance for over 30 years he wouldn't just up and cancel. Problem happened when army did not fix in computer he was discharged. My dad moved with me to another state thinking he was discharged. My dad got ill couldn't go to VA doc had to go on base because it still showed active. He wasn't able to file for VA benifits or VGLI due to it. We found out he got cancer and he ended up in and out of Hospitals. He died in Aug of 2004 and SGLI said his seperation date shows as July 2004. One month before he died. --- what do I do I think they cheated him out of his life insurance and messed up his paperwork. (I know I'm asking late but I'm just finding out info about all this now because they wouldnt tell me much when it happened)

Sims 3 Motorcycle and Moped disappeared? Help?
I installed the Sims 3 Fast Lane (that's the only other thing I put on other than the base game). After playing once, i exited, saved, etc. I went back into the game, made another family, and I could no longer buy the Moped or the Motorcycle. They're simply not on the list. However, all the other Fast Lane cars are. Does anyone know why this happened??
My Car accident is to Far fetched to believe what do i do?
I got hit by a MotorCycle hit and run while sitting at a intersection which was poorly lit and had no cameras; it is the worst intersection in my town. the Reason i have trouble with it was because i cant recall much for the fact that when i heard a sound i turned my head to it and saw a motorcycle slideing fast towards me. I then turned my head and ducked for cover as i could have sworn it was about to get worse. i felt two large bumps, and a loud scream as the motorcycle hit my car. I then got up to look and the motorist had allready gotten back on the bike and drove away the opposite direction i had been coming from. but i went back the next morning there are no skid marks or scratch marks on the pavement, the dmg to my car is weird at that as well. scratch marks that are on the door and and random bump marks as well. I look at this and see exactly what a cop or investigator is going to say when he looks at this and hes going to say insurance fraud.... what in the hell do i do?

Italy weather/dress in March?
I'm traveling italy in march (rome, venice, florence) and i have heard that it is still chilly and somewhat rainy around that time. I was thinking about buying a light north face or columbia jacket for the weather. Since I dont want to look too much like a tourist, and since i dont want to pack my heavy wool peacoat in my luggage, I was wondering if people in Italy actually wear brands like North Face or any other jacket of that type. I looking at joining either the Army or Air Force as a Firefighter, but I know that in the civilian world it is VERY hard to become a career firefighter. I was wondering if having prior Firefighting experience from the military would help me (my recruiter says yes, but then again, they will say ANYTHING to you) more than a college degree would. If I go Army Reserve, can I go Active?
I was active Army for four years and got out in 2009. My family and I have decided that going back in the military would be a good idea because since I've been out I've gone from job to job and just aren't having any luck. We are sick of being broke and living like ****. I've talked to recruiters and they say that the Army is not taking any prior service right now. The only way I could get in is to go in with the same MOS however, that MOS is not available.I got out as an E-5. Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to your state DMV website and look up instructions on how to obtain a motorcycle permit or license. Most states require you to take approved motorcycle courses prior to taking the test. They will have all the info you need to get started. I would also go to your local motorcycle dealer and look around at the bikes. Talk to them and see what they recommend as a starter bike. Get as much info as you can before getting on the motorcycle. good luck.

So there is this guy i know and i really like him but he has a girlfriend and they've been going out for 6 months but i saw her flirting with another guy just yesterday and they hardly ever talk. I talked to my loan company (H-D Financial) yesterday as my payment was 3 days late. I told him how I was unemployed and looking for work but had 2 opportunities this week. He told me there was nothing he could do to help me since I am a new customer but that he will make a note of it and to call him as soon as I hear something about the job. I went and talked to recruiter today and I took the practice test and scored a 52. So we spoke for a while and he gave me a army application and turn in tomorrow. If I turn it in does it mean I am committing or do I still have a time to consider my options? The Army is definitely one of my top options but something else came out that is amusing also. What's wrong with me? Very weird story?
On Wednesday(1/26/11), I got my braces off, then went back to school. In 3rd block, I was just fine. Then a few minutes after 4th block started, I noticed that my hands started to get really cold. On the bus ride home, I was shivering a lot. Then when I got home, I laid down and wrapped up under a blanket. While I was under the blanket, I was still cold, and shivering. (I had on my jacket, long pants, and long socks). Shortly after, the fever came in. My legs were numb, and I couldn't see straight, and I was very light headed. After I got out of the shower, my heart was beating rapidly and I was out of breath. When I laid back down, It felt as if my brain was pounding against the front of my skull. I recovered later on that night. The next day, the same thing happened, but later on in 4th block instead of the first few minutes. Does anyone know what's wrong with me?

My recruiter says I should pay the ticket and accept the points but I feel that may not be wise and that I should get a lawyer? Info please?

do not join rotc if you are getting a degree in physical therapy. after the completion of rotc your degree goes to **** until you leave the military. just get your degree and then go to the army as a captain not a butter bar (2nd lieutenant).

Army medical discharge?
I have been in the army for almost a year now...I had a motorcycle wreck a few years ago...My knee at the pavement at about 60 mph...I healed from my injuries...Now my knee is starting to give me problems espically after long periods of standing and in cold weather...its getting worse and worse. espically after PT...Its a coming and going pain, but now its coming more frequently. I have had x rays and MRI's done but they don't see anything wrong. it never broke. Could there really be something wrong with my knee..Would i be able to get a medical discharge for it.

How to lower my motorcycle insurance?
How can I go about lowering my motorcycle insurance? This will be my first motorcycle, gsxr 600 and they are looking to charge me 300+ a month. It seems pretty crazy, and I am just looking for any way to cut down on the cost. What book is this that I am looking for?
I'm looking for a book (or I actually think it may have been a trilogy of books). They were Christian romance novels, but pretty thick ones...in the 300-500 page range maybe, as opposed to skinny little books. They were about this really rich guy that wanted to get married but didn't want the bride to know who he was til AFTER the wedding, because he didn't want to marry someone who was after his money. He ended up marrying some bank teller, and he would pick her up on a motorcycle, wearing a helmet so she couldn't see who he was. Motorcycle headlight three prong to dual two prong?
I recently purchased a new motorcycle headlight (http://moto-madness.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_337&products_id=303) for my bike (2005 Kawasaki z750s). My new headlights have a three prong H4 plug assembly, however my bike also two headlights, but each is individually connected to two prong connections (I'm assuming one dedicated to high beam, the other to low beam). Will I have to rewire this? Would I need a new harness or is there a work around to merge those two two-pronged connections into one three-pronged connection?
How much does it cost to buff a motorcycle?
If its very minor a detail shop can buff it out for 50 bucks or so. If its deep at all Repaint...ouch!
How to gain weight for the Army?
So I went to MEPS yesterday to do my ASVAB and to do my complete physical. Everything was good to go....until I had to weigh in. I am 6 lbs UNDERWEIGHT. I have to go back in 24 days to weigh in again, so I have until then to gain 10 lbs (just to be on the safe side). I was wondering if those Carnation chocolate/vanilla/strawberry drinks will help. Thanks for checking me out. Ok so my brother drove his car into this guy's motorcycle injuring the rider's passenger. Both the rider and my brother didn't have insurance. The state (FL) charged him with a high penalty for not having insurance which he can't pay. With all this said, does anybody know what kind of attorney he would need? Car accident attorneys can't help because he or the bike rider didn't have insurance.

ok well there is this guy who i sorta like and were friends. But anyways, today me and my friends were walking around and he was with his friends ad we sorta met up and hung out for a few minutes. when he was leaving he just hugged me (it wasn't in a weird way because we both hug people all the time) but it was really awkward because i hadnt hugged him before and i just like put my arms around him and his jacket was all in my face lol. My boyfriend recently joined the army reserve and when it came to filling out the beneficiary he thought he had to put a relative as his beneficiary so he put his mom and not myself We have been together for years and his mom and dad are divorced and both well off. The only person whose life would be drastically altered (financially speaking) by his death...and I feel I should be the one to get it as there will still be house payments, car payments etc. Does anyone know about this family member rule? I think he just misunderstood and would be too shy to inquire further at the risk of feeling stupid.

Whats the advantage in pipe welding training would that be good for building motorcycle frames? Or for building frames is MIG and TIG training more the way to go?

What would be a good cruiser to get for a first bike?
I've never ridden before but my friends and my dad has a motorcycle. I'm thinking about getting into it and was wandering what bikes I should be looking at. I definitely want a cruiser and I like the black look that kinda sits low. My friend got a Harley Iron 883 a couple years ago and I kinda like that look. I just saw the Honda Shadow Phantom and I also like the way it looks. Any other recommendations would be appreciated as far as looks and the amount of power it should have. How big of a motorcycle should I get?
I am a big guy, 6 feet 4 inches tall and weight 300lbs. I haven't rode a motorcycle in 17 years but do to the gas prices, I want to get back into riding for daily commuting to work. I plan on buying an older, less expensive bike. However, I don't want to look like a gorilla on a tricycle either. I don't really care about style or engine size. My main concern is to not get a bike so big I cannot control it. Alot of people say beginners should stay away from liter bikes, but the 600's look and feel to small to me. The sales guys at the shops just try to upsale as big of bike as you can afford, but offer no information on what exactly would be best to learn on. 17 years is a long time to be off a motorcycle. I was alot younger and reckless when I was younger. I have a family to take care of and really don't need to get killed because the guy at the Harley shop thought I needed a 1800 cc bike because I am a big guy. Any opinions or thoughts?

I didnt think much of it until I read up on symptoms for why I was feeling so bad. I went to try applying to a job 30 mins away on my motorcycle, the only transportatoin i have. I wore a jacket thats kinda thin and some gloves. I had to turn around because my hands went numb and I couldn't move my fingers well which is dangerous since a motorcycle uses all hand controls. When I got home my fingers were kinda blue/dark red and numb. I didnt realize my voice but I made a call somwhere and my voice was very slurred and couldn't pronounce words right. My skin felt wet too still does, but its not wet it is just very cold. I warmed up my hands in hot water and I'm about to go take a hot shower to warm up more. Its been a couple hours since I got back home. Just don't want to cause any damage to myself.

I'm about to turn 16, and would like to save up for a reliable, cheap (2k-4.5k), good-looking, car. It has to be American, or anything other than Honda, Subaru, Toyota, Lexus, Hyundai, etc. cause dad works for GM. I am paying for the car on my own, most likely, but maybe I can convince parents to pay 1k or so. Money is tight right now in my family. I got a job in November at a brand new Kroger grocery store, where I get minimum wage and cannot work over 16 hours per week because I'm only 15. I have saved a little over 1.2k in the bank.
