When can i get my motorcycle permit in CA?

Hello, im 15 and a half and im about to get my drivers permit in a few weeks and i wanted to know when it is legal for me to get my motorcycle permit too. i've always loved them and now i want to be able to drive one. Please andswer, thanks.
