What is the french phrase for something old and likable.?

I have an old leather bomber jacket that I have had for years. My wife insists on throwing it out and purchasing a new one. I love it and I think the fact that it looks used adds to, rather than subtracts from, its looks. Isn't there a french phrase or word for something old but cherished and even better because of it's age?
