I'm thinking of joining the army. I'm kinda overweight and I was wondering if you think I'll make it in basic?

this is the same answer i used a minute ago with a simular question.....when i went through boot camp i was 6'1 and a solid 210....lets just say when i left boot camp i was 153....run run run and when your done with that run some more...that and pull ups..do pyrmids start with 10 pullups then hop down from the bar do 25 push ups then 9 and 24 push ups all the way down till you get to 1 pullup and 15 push ups then go from 1 and 15 back to 10 and 25...start at a lower number if your still needing work on your pullups.....and just some advice practice running with a goose egg (a filled sand bag that has been mummified in duct tape)..you have to get used to running with a pack..thats the best advice i can give you...your gonna loose mad muscle and mad weight but trust me the faster you are the better...and stadiums not only should you be able to run for long distances but also be fast on short sprints.....good luck
