National Guard vs Active Army?

I am enlisting as a 31b. But i'm not sure which way to go. I'm considered going national guard and trying to work border patrol out in texas. But i also want to deploy overseas frequently. I'm not sure what to choose. If anybody has border patrol/national guard info that would be great
