If I turn in Army application mean I am committing?

I went and talked to recruiter today and I took the practice test and scored a 52. So we spoke for a while and he gave me a army application and turn in tomorrow. If I turn it in does it mean I am committing or do I still have a time to consider my options? The Army is definitely one of my top options but something else came out that is amusing also. So if I turn in the Army application am I committing or can I turn it in and still be able to change my mind?
