I was wondering if it is a good idea to join the Marines or Army out of high school?

I have always wanted to serve my country in the infantry of the Marines or Army. I pray for it everyday. Please I need answers from people who know what their talking about/ Veterans from the Wars. I need to know if I should go to college first or just join out of high school. Thanks for the help. Have a good one and God Bless!
