Can a cocker spaniel live outside in alaska?

I live in Oklahoma and really want to take my dog Molly with me to Alaska. If I put her in the garage with a heating pad at night will she be ok. And if we don't have a garage and I keep the dog house door facing away from the wind and close to the house would that work.my dad just rejoined the army and got stationed in ft.Richerdson Alaska. Please answer and give any ideas. Thank you! :)
